NEW ST. COLETTE STATUES

St. Colette now has two different statues of St. Colette available for purchase. They have been specially made in France for the Poor Clare Colettine Sisters. The sisters have graciously made it possible for us to sell them. We have these statues for sale in our Lily and Grace Gift Shop. They are both 13” high. One is a hand painted statue that sells for $50.00, and one that is a natural color for $40.00. If you are interested in buying one, stop in the office or call!

Weekend of 8/31 & 9/1

9.11

As we come to September we also come to the invitation to pause on 9/11 to remember and to petition the Father for Peace on our earth. I personally invite you to consider joining us on September Eleventh for a special prayer service in remembrance and honor. For those of us who spent that day in 2001 the memories may be fading but the reality and the aftermath continues in so many different ways. We need peace! We need to work for peace in our own small ways. We need to remember the countless lives that have been lost since that day—most especially our sons and daughters in the Military. While 2001 is already history we live the present realities which are changing our world on a daily basis. There is such a strong anti-God, anti-Religion, prevalent in our nation that has become contagious. We, people of Faith, must turn our reliance on a God who is Peace itself.

Please consider joining us for that brief time on 9/11 to pray with us.

Following our service we will host a light reception in the atrium, Remember you need not be a member of the parish to join us—don’t hesitate to invite friends or neighbors. Together we are a visible sign of the Peace which Christ left us.
