The first time Fr. Tim met the staff back in September, he described this beautiful calling to be our pastor. Much of his assurance came through his fervent prayer of the Surrender Novena. A powerful invocation, each of the nine days concludes with the phrase, “Oh Jesus, I Trust in You. Take care of everything.” On this beautiful Divine Mercy Sunday, a day overflowing with Jesus’ heart pleading with us to trust in him, how perfect the connection of a prayer that brought Fr. Tim to us, and his official installation as Pastor of St. Colette. And how wonderful God’s goodness is his gentle, yet forthcoming reminder of the beautiful blessings afforded to us when we place our trust in him.
Fr. Tim, you’ve been welcomed and you’ve been loved! And we’re most grateful on this day to officially install you as our third pastor, and to journey in ministry and life with you! May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen your heart for the ministry to which you have been called. For he is generous and merciful indeed! Jesus, we continue to place our trust in YOU!
